Potential Legal Troubles Loom for Kanye West due to Recent Social Media Activities?
Straight Talkin' About Kanye's Troubles
Here's a lowdown on the steaming hot mess that is Kanye West's current legal predicament. His former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, has accused him of sexual harassment and assault, and guess what? His tweets are becoming evidence against him.
Speaking to Complex, Lauren's lawyer, Arick Fudali, dropped a bombshell, "I've never, in my entire career of representing alleged victims, seen a defendant tweet out admissions to the case in the middle of litigation and discovery. This is absolutely a new one."
Arick's statement was followed by a string of questionable tweets from Ye that clearly addressed Lauren. Some of the tweets read, "I used to fuck employees in my office. That employee— hits different. I need the whole office fuck proof." Another tweet said, "Life is about using your position to fuck the baddest bitches possible."
But it didn't stop there; Ye tweeted, "I'm a walking Me Too." And then, "Grab a bitch by the pussy." And yet again, "I'm a big-time pimp."
Arick responded, "I represent cases against a lot of volatile, unpredictable, high profile individuals who are not afraid to say things. But I've never seen anything like this: where the defendant is admitting that he's sexually harassing his employees, while I represent a former employee accusing him of sexual harassment. That is certainly a first for me."
It seems the attorney is looking forward to deposing Ye and having the case tried in front of a jury. In Arick's words, "With just this evidence, there's enough at this point."
Last year, Lauren filed a lawsuit against Kanye, accusing him of numerous offenses. Ye, on the other hand, has denied all the allegations.

In the ongoing legal battle, Kanye West's controversial tweets regarding his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, are now being used as evidence against him. These tweets, which openly admit to inappropriate behavior, have been described as unprecedented by Lauren's lawyer, Arick Fudali, who represents victims in general-news, crime-and-justice, and entertainment cases.
