Post Detail: Kelly Clarkson Omitted from Brandon Blackstock's Obituary Following Revelation of His Relationship with Her Former Assistant in an Emotionally Involved Capacity
In heartbreaking news, Brando Blackstock, the former husband of American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson, passed away on August 7 due to melanoma. He was 43 years old.
Blackstock's children were his greatest love and his greatest legacy. The father of four, who shared River (11) and Remington (9) with Clarkson, was reportedly building a life with his partner, Brittney Marie Jones, before his untimely death.
Jones, described as Blackstock's "beautiful and loving partner" in his obituary, was also his secret 'loving' partner before his death. They were reportedly 'soulmates'.
The relationship between Jones and Clarkson dates back to December 2016, when Jones started working as Clarkson's assistant. She continued in this role until early 2020, around the same time Clarkson filed for divorce.
Blackstock and Clarkson were married for seven years before their separation in June 2020. After their split, Blackstock began a relationship with Jones, Clarkson's former assistant.
Despite their difficult divorce, Clarkson was supportive during Blackstock's private battle with illness. This support was evident when she postponed her Las Vegas residence the day before Blackstock's passing.
Clarkson also stepped away from The Kelly Clarkson Show due to personal reasons related to Blackstock's illness. The illness took a toll on Clarkson, affecting her relationship with Blackstock and their children.
However, Blackstock remained the man Clarkson still loved. Despite the challenges, Clarkson stood by Blackstone until his death.
As for Jones' current whereabouts or status, no information has been provided. The focus at this time is on honouring the memory of Brando Blackstock and the love he shared with his family and partner.
