Celebrating three consecutive triumphs: Could Oberdorf stage a remarkable resurgence? - Possible return of Oberdorf?

While the Bayern camp is buzzing with excitement over their first-ever treble win, the question of whether Lena Oberdorf will make a return before the upcoming European Championship lingers. "She's gotta train with us first," coach Alexander Straus clarifies: "We ain't taking no chances, gotta make sure Lena's a-1 fit." Seems like she might be on the field for the EM, but only if there's no risk involved, he adds. With her ACL injury, it's a race against the clock. Bayern's women's football director, Bianca Rech, was a tad more cautious about Oberdorf's comeback: "She's training with the squad, but she ain't at a level where she can play in the EM just yet."

Bundestrainer Christian Wück had previously hinted that Oberdorf could make a few more appearances for Bayern this season.

The Munich women have usurped the top spot in German women's football without Oberdorf, displaying their dominance and determination. "I don't like using the 'P' word (power shift), but we've shown we're on the right path and hungry for more," says Rech.

Outgoing coach Straus, heading for Angel City FC in LA this summer, looks back on his time with the team with a smile. His successor in Munich remains under wraps.

As the Munich women celebrate their seventh title with a touch of caution, captain Giulia Gwinn describes it as a "party with the handbrake on." They stand a chance to make history on Thursday when they face Werder Bremen in the DFB-Pokal final in Cologne. If they pull off the double, it'd be a first for the club, according to player Klara Buhl.
