Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra paid a visit to the Thai Apostolic Nunciature, also known as the Vatican embassy, on Thursday, to express condolences in the book of condolences, following the death of Pope Francis.

She continued, "His unwavering compassion, moral courage, noble humility, and tireless pursuit of peace inspired millions. Thailand mourns the loss of a true beacon of humanity. May His Holiness rest in eternal peace."
