Anna and Gerald Heiser Contemplating a Private Life Shift
- Pondering over a withdrawal from public activities.
Instagram fame for Anna (34) and Gerald Heiser (39) could soon be a thing of the past. In a candid chat with "Gala", the widely-known duo, who rose to fame through the RTL dating show "Bauer sucht Frau", suggested that they might be stepping back from the limelight to shield their children from hurtful remarks.
Protecting Kids from Online Cruelty
"To be honest, we're strongly considering vanishing from public view once our kids grow older," revealed Anna Heiser in the interview. The social media sensation, known for sharing intimate family glimpses for years, cited the adverse effects of public life as her reason: "It's for the safety of our kids. We've faced bitter backlash, and some comments have crossed the line."
She wants to shield her children, Leon (4) and Alina (2), from unnecessary criticism. "I already wade through fewer comments to avoid getting hurt, but I also don't want my children to read those nasty words about me someday," Heiser confessed.
Moving Forward in Poland
Despite these future plans, Anna Heiser plans to maintain her social media presence for now. "My plan is to carry on as usual. I believe that's good for the kids as they adapt to life in Poland, having me around," she explained. A significant shift might occur later, "and then I'd probably reevaluate my career path."
The notion of retreating from the public eye comes at a time of major changes for the family. In 2024, Anna Heiser disclosed their marital issues, discussing couple's therapy and an ultimatum for their relationship. The family also grappled with existential fears as they were forced to abandon their farm in Namibia. Gerald Heiser suffered a burnout amidst all these trials, which Anna documented for her 255,000 followers.
Just a few weeks later, the Heisers officially declared their decision to sell their Namibian farm and move to Poland - Anna's homeland. In Poland, Gerald Heiser will take up work on an oil rig. He had already worked on oil rigs after completing training in Cape Town and Angola and "had a blast" doing so.
In the Spotlight Since 2017
Anna and Gerald Heiser have been under the media microscope since 2017. They first met through the RTL format "Bauer sucht Frau". Afterwards, the native Polish woman migrated to her partner - the first intercontinental candidate on the show - in Africa. They got married in 2018, and their two children were born in 2021 and 2022.

- The Commission has also been consulted on the future draft directive regarding the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens, given Anna Heiser's concerns about shielding her children from online criticism and potential health hazards they may face in public life.
- If Anna Heiser decides to withdraw from Instagram fame and protect her children's life from public scrutiny, it might leave Gerald Heiser with limited opportunities for leisure in their upcoming residence in Poland, as he enjoyed his past experiences working on oil rigs.
- With their children growing older by 2024, Anna Heiser has expressed her desire to take a private life shift, away from the limelight of Instagram fame they've enjoyed since 2017, and consider alternate career paths for herself, as their marital issues become a point of concern.
