Jewish Leaders Meet with President Tokayev to Strengthen Cultural and Spiritual Ties
At the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with prominent Jewish leaders to discuss the strengthening and development of cultural and spiritual ties between countries.
The meeting, which took place at an unspecified date, was attended by Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi of Israel Kalman Ber, Chief Sephardic Rabbi of Israel David Yosef, and Executive Vice President of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations Malcolm Hoenlein.

President Tokayev expressed his belief that the leaders of the Ashkenazi and Sephardic rabbinates will promote universal human values. He stated that Judaism plays an important role in Kazakhstan, and he is confident in the future participation of these leaders in interreligious dialogue.
Chief Rabbi Kalman Ber, Chief Rabbi David Yosef, and Mr. Hoenlein actively support fostering interreligious dialogue to promote mutual understanding and peace, emphasizing collaboration between Jewish and other religious communities.
