Police scouring fresh location for the wanted individual, suspected of brutally slaying four members of a family.
Breaking News: Tennessee Quadruple Murder Suspect Still at Large
In a shocking turn of events, the bodies of four victims were discovered on Carrington Road in Tiptonville, Lake County on Tuesday night. The victims, identified as James Wilson, Adrianna Williams, Cortney Rose, and Braydon Williams, are believed to be the parents of a 7-month-old baby girl who was found abandoned in a Dyer County yard.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is leading the search for the main suspect in this case, Austin Drummond. Drummond is wanted for four counts of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated kidnapping, four counts of possessing a firearm as a felon, and one count of possessing a firearm during a dangerous felony. He is considered armed and "extremely dangerous." If you see him, do not approach and call 911 immediately.
A confirmed sighting of Drummond was captured on a citizen's camera system in the 700 block of Pipkin Road on Sunday night. The ongoing search for Drummond is centered around the area of Pipkin Road, Pleasant Plains Road, Oil Well Road, and Country Club Lane in Jackson. Drummond was last seen wearing full camouflage and a brown backpack.
In a separate development, Tanaka Brown, 29, Giovonti Thomas, 29, and Derrah Sanders, 23, have been arrested. They are facing accessory after the fact charges, with Brown also being charged with evidence tampering. The police believe these individuals may have been involved in assisting Drummond after the murders occurred. However, they are not charged with the homicide itself.
The public is urged to share any surveillance footage from the search area with investigators. Police are also asking all people within the immediate area to lock their doors and stay indoors as the search for Drummond continues. Deputy Marshal Darrel Weldon has filed a complaint citing a statewide, cross-agency search after law enforcement learned that Drummond possibly fled the state of Tennessee and crossed the state line boundaries.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information about the suspect or the victims' connection to the suspect has been released at this time. The TBI has not revealed whether they plan to pursue the death penalty once Drummond is indicted.
