The Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has announced the AP Police Constable Result 2025 on 30 July 2025. A total of 6100 posts, including 3580 Police Constables (Civil) (Men and Women) and 2520 Police Constables (APSP) (Men), will be filled through this recruitment drive.
For the candidates who have been shortlisted, the process following the result announcement includes document verification and medical examination as key steps before final appointment.
- Document Verification
Candidates must present original documents such as educational certificates, identity proof, caste or category certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents to verify eligibility and authenticity. This is a crucial step to ensure candidates meet all the prescribed criteria for recruitment.
- Physical Fitness Tests (if pending)
Any remaining physical fitness tests may be conducted or confirmed at this stage to ensure candidates meet the physical standards of the police force.
- Medical Examination
Candidates undergo a detailed medical check-up to assess their physical health and fitness for the role. This typically includes vision tests, general health assessment, and fitness evaluation based on the post’s requirements. Successful candidates in the medical exam proceed towards final training and appointment.
The entire process aims to maintain transparency and merit-based selection, with SLPRB conducting final verification of candidate lists to avoid discrepancies. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official SLPRB website (https://slprb.ap.gov.in) for detailed instructions regarding document verification schedules, medical exams, and other recruitment procedures.
A total of 37,600 candidates were provisionally shortlisted for the written exam held on 1 June 2025. Out of these, 38,914 candidates qualified in PMT/PET and attended the Final Written Test. A total of 95,208 candidates qualified in PWT. Among these, 33,921 candidates qualified in the Final Written Test, and results were issued on 10.07.2025.
Candidates who appeared for the written exam can download their result from the official website. The board has also released the scorecard for SCT PC (Civil) (Men & Women) and SCT PC (APSP) (Men) posts.
