Updated Article:

Nancy Wilson's treasured custom-built baritone Telecaster gets returned after 11 long days, snatched in the daring heist at Atlantic City.

Heart's gut-wrenching incident didn't stop at theft; Paul Moak's cherished Gibson mandolin also met the same fate. Wilson expressed her desperation for their safe return, stating, "These instruments are not mere tools—they're our musical essence."

Two days ago, it surfaced that the police had swooped in on a suspect, Garfield Bennett, who was seen on CCTV at Atlantic City's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where the band had stationed themselves before a show. Fox 29 shared the news that the alleged offender was 57-year-old Garfield Bennett hailing from Pleasantville.

Bennett's spree extended across the city as he tried to peddle the two "worth their weight in gold" instruments to chance passers-by. When Bennett was nabbed, Wilson confirmed that one of the treasures had exchanged hands, while the other had vanished.

Thankfully, Wilson and her beloved Tele reconnected. Atlantic City police released a statement urging the individual who bought the instrument to come forward. And voila, the long-awaited reunion took place.

As per AP News, investigators traced the suspect on CCTV giving the Telecaster to a woman, who stashed the guitar in her vehicle, parked just a stone's throw away from the venue. With the help of automated license plate readers, they identified the car owner, who voluntarily forfeited the prized baritone guitar. AP News reports also indicated that Bennett now faces burglary and theft charges.

But alas, Moak's precious 25-year-old mandolin remains untraced. While Bennett's arrest didn't seem to reveal any leads about the mandolin, the search continues. Authorities urge anyone in possession of it to return it willingly to dodge the charges for holding stolen goods.
