Julian, a wanted individual since 2017 due to drug-related charges, found himself in a predicament at roughly 3 pm in the Rewe parking lot on Grünewalder Straße. Facing financial struggles, he was unaware that his potential customers were actually undercover cops.

The saga began in May 2022, when investigators from North Rhine-Westphalia's State Criminal Police Office (LKA) picked up on someone in Malaga, Spain, who was offering drugs in Germany through Telegram. An undercover agent sparked interest, and the dealer proposed sending the drugs by post or meeting in person in Solingen. However, it wasn't until January 2023 that investigators were able to identify this unknown individual as Julian.

His history with the authorities wasn't a secret. In 2017, during a police check, Julian was caught with drugs, leading to charges. However, prior to his court date in Solingen, he made a run for it to Spain, landing on the wanted list.

When the investigators discovered Julian was back in Solingen, offloading illegals substances once more, they sprang into action.

Upon learning of Julian's return, authorities secured a warrant for his arrest from both the Düsseldorf regional and Solingen district courts. The offer of a drug deal served as the bait that led Julian to the Rewe parking lot, where undercover cops lay in wait, resulting in his eventual arrest.

Despite his prior encounters with the criminal police office and his ongoing wanted status since 2017, Julian's decision to resurface in Solingen and resume his unlawful activities ultimately contributed to his downfall.
