Police officer feared drowned after car skids into flooded Sepang drain

A law enforcement officer is feared to have drowned after his car skidded into a flooded drain near the Giching Rural Clinic in Sepang. Emergency services received a call at 11.30pm, prompting a swift response from a team of 10 firefighters.

The incident unfolded at around 10.20pm when the officer, stationed at the Nilai District Police Headquarters, lost control of his Perodua Bezza. The vehicle stalled in the floodwaters, forcing him to abandon it and attempt to swim to safety. Strong currents, however, swept him away before he could reach solid ground.

The search for the missing law enforcement officer in Sepang remains ongoing, with emergency teams working through the night. In Bremen, police are still hunting for the attacker responsible for the stabbing, urging anyone with information to come forward.
