Police in Poland report incidents of traffic accidents, burglaries, traffic regulation issues, and a closure of a federal road due to canine obstruction.
In a series of events that unfolded across Southwest Germany on Tuesday, several incidents and accidents were reported, causing disruptions and raising concerns.
In Eningen, a four-year-old girl was involved in a traffic accident. The incident occurred around 3:10 PM near a car dealership, where the girl was riding a children's bicycle and collided with a stationary VW Touran. The girl was taken to a clinic by ambulance for medical treatment.
Elsewhere, in Nürtingen, a cyclist sustained minor injuries in a traffic accident on Tuesday afternoon in Neckarhausen. The details of the accident are still under investigation, with the Berkheim-Zollberg police station taking up the case.
In Metzingen, another traffic accident involving an injured motorcyclist occurred on Tuesday afternoon on the Ulmer Straße. The motorcyclist, a 41-year-old man, was on a BMW and was thrown to the left after colliding with a VW Passat.
On a more troubling note, a break-in was reported at a recycling facility on Hohenheimer Straße in Esslingen overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday. The crime occurred between 6 PM and 8 AM, and a compressor of the brand Elmag BOY was stolen. The police are currently investigating the incident.
In a somewhat unusual incident, the B 27 near Hechingen had to be temporarily closed due to two loose dogs on the road on Tuesday. The closure lasted from 5:40 PM to 6:20 PM, and one of the dogs was caught by a traffic participant, while the second dog was caught by its owners.
In Tübingen, a Sprinter driver was stopped by police on Tuesday afternoon on the B 27 due to multiple traffic violations. The driver did not have a valid driver's license, had a current driving ban, and did not have valid control papers for the 3.5-ton vehicle. The journey was prohibited, and the responsible owner of the Sprinter was notified. The accident that followed resulted in estimated damage to both vehicles of around 30,000 euros.
Lastly, in Nürtingen, another traffic incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the town of Neckarhausen. The details are still under investigation, but it was reported that the accident happened around 4:45 PM in a cul-de-sac towards Sulzengasse.
