Hitting the Gas Too Hard:

Shedeur Sanders, the fresh face of the Cleveland Browns, has been slapped with accusations of revving his pickup truck up to a blazing 101mph on a suburban Cleveland interstate earlier this week. That's roughly 163 kilometers per hour in civilized terms.

The Strongsville Police Department caught up with Sanders around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday in a 60mph zone on Interstate 71 near the Ohio Turnpike, according to local media reports. That's quite the speed bump.

For his transgression, Sanders, the 23-year-old son of Hall of Fame player Deion Sanders, may have to fork over a $250 fine to wave off the fourth-degree misdemeanor case. We've reached out to the Browns for comment.

Drafted in the fifth round (144th overall) of the NFL draft this spring, Sanders, who played under his father at the University of Colorado, is currently competing against three other quarterbacks in the Browns' lineup. Their minicamp wrapped up last week, and they'll kick off training camp in late July.

It seems Shedeur's not a stranger to speeding incidents. He was previously cited for driving 91mph in a 65mph zone and missed his court arraignment, which could cost him $269 in fines and court costs. On a separate occasion, he was nabbed for zipping along at 101mph in a 60mph zone, earning him another $250 fine or the option to argue his case in court. The Browns team has addressed these speeding citations with Shedeur, and a spokesman confirmed that "He is taking care of the tickets."

So there you have it, Shedeur Sanders has indeed been charged for his speeding offenses, but it seems the team and the law are handling the situation.

Shedeur Sanders, a prospect in the National Football League (NFL), is known for his passion for sports, particularly American football. Despite recently being charged for excessive speeding on a suburban Cleveland interstate, he continues to train for the upcoming season with the Cleveland Browns, where he competes with other quarterbacks.
