The Strongsville Police Department caught up with Sanders around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday in a 60mph zone on Interstate 71 near the Ohio Turnpike, according to local media reports. That's quite the speed bump.
For his transgression, Sanders, the 23-year-old son of Hall of Fame player Deion Sanders, may have to fork over a $250 fine to wave off the fourth-degree misdemeanor case. We've reached out to the Browns for comment.
Drafted in the fifth round (144th overall) of the NFL draft this spring, Sanders, who played under his father at the University of Colorado, is currently competing against three other quarterbacks in the Browns' lineup.
