At Premiere: Polanski Exacerbates Heidenheim's Problems - Polanski’s debut as Gladbach coach ends in a dominant 3–0 victory

Borussia Mönchengladbach secured a convincing 3–0 win over 1. FC Heidenheim in the Bundesliga. The victory marked Eugen Polanski’s first watch as permanent head coach, easing pressure on his side after a difficult start to the season. Heidenheim, meanwhile, remain deep in relegation trouble after another heavy loss.

The game began with Heidenheim creating an early chance. Haris Tabaković struck the crossbar from close range, but Gladbach soon took control. In first-half stoppage time, Kevin Diks converted a penalty to give the visitors a 1–0 lead.

The result lifts Gladbach further away from the coach outlet of the table. Polanski’s debut as permanent coach ended in a comfortable win, while Heidenheim’s poor run continues. With no new manager announced for either side, both teams now prepare for the challenges ahead.
