Poisoning of Alexei Navalny was confirmed by his wife, based on test results from a foreign lab.

In a shocking video, Yulia Navalnaya, the wife of the late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, described his last moments before his death in a Russian prison in the Arctic Circle. The video revealed details about Navalny's pain, vomiting, and the condition of the punishment cell.

Navalny returned to Russia voluntarily in 2021, after undergoing treatment for an attempt to poison him with a nerve agent in Siberia. Upon his return, he was arrested and was serving sentences on fraud, extremism, and other charges that he claimed were trumped up to silence him.

Last year, Yulia Navalnaya dismissed information from Russian investigators that Alexei Navalny had died from a combination of diseases. However, in a recent development, she claimed that two foreign laboratories found evidence that he was poisoned. The laboratories, whose exact names have not been disclosed publicly, are located in two different foreign countries.

The laboratories did not specify the type of poison found in Navalny, but Yulia Navalnaya showed a picture of the punishment cell, which allegedly showed a pile of vomit on the floor. She has demanded the laboratories release their findings, stating they are of public importance.

The Kremlin has been quick to dismiss these allegations. Russian president Vladimir Putin has stated that there were plans to swap Navalny in a prisoner exchange with the West before his death, but he has not commented on the laboratory findings. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also remained silent on Yulia Navalnaya's statements.

Navalny long forecast that Russia could face seismic political turmoil, including revolution. He described Putin's Russia as a brittle criminal state run by thieves, sycophants, and spies who care only about money. In 2023, he admonished the Russian elite for their venality and expressed hatred for those who squandered an opportunity to reform the country after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.

The Kremlin views Navalny's political allies as dangerous extremists out to destabilise Russia on behalf of the West. Yulia Navalnaya implied that the truth about Navalny's death was inconvenient for some unidentified politicians in the West, but she did not provide specifics. However, US intelligence agencies have determined that Vladimir Putin did not order Navalny's killing, according to the Associated Press and the Wall Street Journal.

Navalny predicted he would die in a Russian prison, as revealed in a memoir. His death at the age of 47 on February 16th, 2024, has sparked widespread protests and calls for justice across Russia and the world. The investigation into his death continues, with Yulia Navalnaya pushing for transparency and the release of the laboratory findings.
