PM Modi applauds BJP leaders’ Ironman 70.3 Goa triumph as youth embrace endurance sports

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has commended the increased youth participation in the Ironman 70.3 event held in Goa on Sunday, November 9, 2025. The event saw several BJP functionaries, including young leaders Tejasvi Surya and K Annamalai, successfully completing the gruelling triathlon.

The Ironman 70.3 Goa event involved a 1.9km swim, a 90km bike ride, and a 21.1km run. The prime minister praised the participants' resilience and dedication, highlighting the event as a testament to their physical fitness and mental strength. Notably, BJP's national spokesperson Tejasvi Surya and Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai were among the successful finishers. Modi lauded their achievement, stating that it sets a positive example for the youth of the nation.
