Pluto TV Launches First-Ever Snooker Channel, PlutoSnooker 900

Pluto TV is set to launch a new channel dedicated to snooker, PlutoSnooker 900, on October 6th. Olivier Jollet, EVP and GM International Pluto TV, expressed excitement about the new venture, which will showcase diverse snooker content and provide opportunities for various players.

The channel, a first of its kind on Pluto TV, will feature classic matches, Ronnie O'Sullivan's coaching series, and the popular snooker format Snooker 900. O'Sullivan, a legendary player, supports the channel and aims to inspire the next generation. The channel launches with a 'Legends Week', featuring snooker stars like Jimmy White and Ken Doherty.

Snooker 900, a 15-minute format built for streaming, was created by Jason Francis on August 17, 2023. Francis is thrilled to see his format as the focus of the first dedicated snooker channel on Pluto TV. The channel will broadcast 18 hours a week of live snooker initially, giving opportunities to women, juniors, and disabled players.

PlutoSnooker 900, launching on October 6th, promises a wealth of snooker content and a platform for diverse players. With support from legends like Ronnie O'Sullivan and the innovative Snooker 900 format, the channel is set to invigorate the sport's streaming landscape.
