Thalheim/Aue — A festive town abuzz! The Erzgebirge roars once again, with enthralling test matches that have captured the hearts of its locals. The crowd's raucous cheers echoed on a sultry summer's night, as 1,246 spectators gathered to witness Aue's triumph at Drebach (8:0). One day later, the atmosphere surged yet again, luring an astounding 2,019 spectators to the match between SV Tanne Thalheim and the feisty Violets. Alas, the newly crowned champions of the Landesklasse West tumbled to Härtel team, succumbing to a crushing 9:0 (0:5) defeat.
A whiff of change
The eruption of the green-and-white sea signified the arrival of Aue's third-tier squad, promising more than just relics of town history.
The enchanted crowd couldn't help but marvel at the charismatic display of trialist Maxim Gresler, debuting as a left-back for Erzgebirge. As the throng of supporters watched closer, they were fawning over Coach Jens Härtel and Sports Director Matthias Heidrich's keen observations of the 22-year-old defensive whiz, formerly of Nuremberg II.

American youthful dynamo Malone stands poised to reshape Aue's strategies with his future interventions. While there's no formal word on further trials or transfers, Heidrich hinted, "if he's eager, we'll swing open the doors for Glenavon and then the training camp."
