Martin Gore, the influential musician best known for his work with Depeche Mode, has announced the release of the remastered version of his collaborative EP, "UnMute," with Danish/UK electronic act Oui Plastique. The EP, which contains three tracks, is now available on all major digital platforms.

Gore's musical journey began in Basildon, but he has since made a home in the United States. His contributions to Depeche Mode have been central to the band's success, with over 100 million records sold globally. Beyond his work with Depeche Mode, Gore has collaborated with his former bandmate Vince Clarke in the duo VCMG.

The EP, originally only available on Bandcamp, has now been released for wider distribution. It features the tracks "Compulsion," "The Bottom Line," and "It Doesn't Matter Two." The latter track was written by Gore and features Bridget Gray from The Rude Awakening.

"Compulsion" was popularized by Gore on his solo EP Counterfeit. The track showcases Gore's more experimental side, a trait that is also evident in his solo works. "The Bottom Line" was written and originally released by Gore himself.

Oui Plastique, a collaboration between Martin Nyrup (Denmark) and James Thomas (UK), has reissued "UnMute" via Town And Towers Records. This reissue highlights the connection between Oui Plastique and Gore through their reinterpretation of his music.

Gore has faced personal challenges, including struggles with alcoholism. Despite these obstacles, he continues to produce music. In addition to his work with Depeche Mode and his collaborations with Vince Clarke, Gore has pursued solo projects, releasing albums like "Counterfeit" (1989) and "MG" (2015).

Gore has also performed as a DJ. His solo works offer a unique perspective on his musical talents, showcasing his versatility and creativity. With the release of the remastered "UnMute" EP, fans can once again immerse themselves in Gore's innovative sound.
