The 64-year-old is believed to have had comprehensive knowledge of the violent coup plans of the group since March 2022.

Previously, convicted right-wing terrorists from the "Kaiserreich Group" were found guilty with substantial prison sentences for wanting to abolish the democratic foundation of the Federal Republic. Their plans involved disrupting power supplies in Germany for weeks with explosives, as well as kidnapping Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (62, SPD).

Thanks to the investigations and the evaluation of evidence, the trail eventually led to the three suspects in Brandenburg.
