Marooned in the West Country, Bristol City somehow snuck into the play-offs on the final day despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Preston. The Robins heads into the play-offs out of form, having won just one of their last five games and ending the campaign winless from their last three. However, they boast an impressive home record this season, having picked up the fourth most points at Ashton Gate. Liam Manning's side are unbeaten in their last eight games at home, winning six of those.
History is not on Bristol City's side, though, as they have never managed to secure promotion via the play-offs. Indeed, they have reached the final three times but have yet to taste success. Meanwhile, Sheffield United have never been promoted through the play-offs either.
