Pittsburgh Gears Up for Massive 2026 NFL Draft Crowds and Events

Pittsburgh will host the 2026 NFL Draft from April 23 to 25. The event is expected to draw between 500,000 and 700,000 visitors to the city. Preparations include road closures and activities centred around key locations like Acrisure Stadium and Point State Park. The three-day draft will see all 32 NFL teams take part, from the Raiders and Jets to the Chiefs and Patriots. Every franchise will select new talent as part of the official draft order.

To manage the large crowds, Pittsburgh will roll out road closures in six stages before the event. Fans and attendees will find activities spread across Acrisure Stadium, Point State Park, and the North Shore. The draft itself runs from April 23 to 25, with events planned throughout the weekend. Organisers anticipate a major turnout, making this one of the largest gatherings in the city's recent history.
