The fifth and final stage of the Vuelta a Andalucía saw a thrilling finish on the slopes of Alto de la Primera Cruz. Tom Pidcock made a bold move just one kilometre from the summit, leaving his rivals behind. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Jan Christen from Aargau claimed second place in the stage, narrowly missing victory.
