H&M made a grand return to the London Fashion Week runway at 180 The Strand, presenting its AW25 collections in an evening of wider entertainment for 700 guests. The event, which was a celebration of creativity, featured three acts of varying aesthetics, each showcasing different collections.

The first act of the night was a spectacle, featuring H&M's Studio line, inspired by a brutalist, tropical landscape. The runway came alive with sharp tailoring, intimate lacing, thigh-high boots, and striking outerwear. The showstoppers of the first act included models such as Alex Consani, Paloma Elsesser, Romeo Beckham, and Iris Law.

The second act marked the first chapter of H&M's AW25 line, inspired by Britpop and the cultural revolution of the late 90s. Grungy leather jackets, argyle knits, and layered checks dominated the runway, taking the audience on a nostalgic journey back to the era of Spice Girls and Oasis.

The final act of the AW25 line showcased urban eveningwear, with H&M including pieces from its elevated menswear line, H&M Atelier. The evening concluded with a powerful performance by singer Lola Young, who wore clothes from H&M's AW25 collection during her rendition of 'Messy' and 'dealer'. Young's involvement in the show underlined H&M's commitment to aligning with current cultural trends.

Ann-Sofie Johansson, head designer and creative advisor at H&M, spoke about this year's event, highlighting its focus on creativity. She expressed that the AW 25 collections are some of H&M's strongest ever, paying tribute to self-expression and personal style.

The event also featured panel talks to kick off the day, with Jonathan Saunders leading the creative consulting for H&M at London Fashion Week 2025. The guest list for the event included celebrities such as Emily Ratajkowski, Gabbriette, Central Cee, and Little Simz.

Overall, H&M's return to London Fashion Week was a resounding success, demonstrating the brand's continued commitment to innovation and cultural relevance in the fashion industry.
