Newly emerged image showcases the latest Weasley offspring - Picture unveiled featuring the latest Weasley siblings.
The world of Hogwarts is about to welcome a new family, as the actors for the Weasley siblings in HBO's upcoming "Harry Potter" series have been announced.
Ruari Spooner will play Percy Weasley, Gabriel Harland will portray George Weasley, Tristan Harland has been cast as Fred Weasley, and Gracie Cochrane will bring Ginny Weasley to life on screen. These talented actors join Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley and Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley in the cast.
The series, planned as a faithful adaptation of the seven books, is being produced under the helm of showrunner Francesca Gardiner and director Mark Mylod. The ensemble also includes Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Nick Frost as Hagrid, John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Professor McGonagall, and Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape.
The first group photo of the new Weasley siblings has been shared, showing them grinning excitedly. Filming for the series began in July 2025 at the Leavesden Studios in the UK. HBO has playfully mentioned that "The Burrow is almost complete."
Charlie Weasley, the second eldest brother, is currently in Romania and will join the series soon. The Burrow, the Weasley family's magical home, is a crucial setting in the "Harry Potter" series, and fans are eager to see it brought to life on screen.
The first season, based on "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," is expected to premiere in 2027 on HBO and HBO Max. The series promises to be a magical journey for both old and new fans of the beloved franchise.
