Pessimistic weather projection for Lower Saxony, according to an expert.

Lower Saxony is set for a warm and sunny weekend, according to weather expert Dominik Jung, before the arrival of autumn. The high-pressure system "Oldenburgia" is expected to bring plenty of sunshine as early as Wednesday afternoon, with temperatures reaching up to 25 to nearly 30 degrees Celsius.

Jung's predictions, shared in his latest video from wetter.net, suggest a brief return of summer's warmth this weekend, even as temperatures will drop sharply from the beginning of next week, barely reaching 20 degrees Celsius in many places.

Serengeti Park in Lower Saxony has announced that visitors can expect this warm-up before summer ends. The park is encouraging everyone to soak up every sunbeam in the coming days, as this weekend will be the last chance for sunbathing before the cooler autumn weather sets in.

The high-pressure system expected at the beginning of the next weekend in Lower Saxony is a strong high over the Mediterranean, often referred to as the "classic summer-bringing high". This high will bring much sunshine and warm air from Southwestern Europe into Germany.

However, Jung warns that the second half of September will be fully autumnal. More rainfall is expected in Lower Saxony in the coming weeks, with around 50 liters per square meter of rainfall already recorded in September. October in Lower Saxony is expected to be warmer and wetter than usual.

Despite the approaching autumn, Jung also anticipates a few more beautiful days in Lower Saxony before summer ends. The coming days are expected to be sunny, with the high-pressure system "Oldenburgia" bringing sunshine.

Warm air masses from North Africa will flow over southwestern Europe and reach Germany by Friday and Saturday, contributing to the warm and sunny weekend in Lower Saxony. Enjoy the last days of summer while they last!
