The occasion is scheduled for March 6 in Miami Beach, Florida.

The recognition from Broadcast Music, Inc (BMI) lauds Peso Pluma's meteoric rise to international stardom and his role in popularizing Mexican music beyond Latin boundaries. Mike O'Neill, the president and CEO of BMI, and Jesús González, the vice president of Latin Music at BMI's Creative Department, will present the award.

Tito Double P, a rising star from Tepic in the Mexican state of Nayarit, will receive the BMI Impact Award for his contribution to Peso Pluma's success and forging his own path as one of the most popular new artists in the genre.
