In the heart of Florida, a tragic incident has unfolded at Universal Orlando Resort's newest addition, Epic Universe. According to the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, a 32-year-old man experienced chest pains after going on the Hiccup's Wing Gliders ride.

The man, in his 30s, was later found unresponsive after riding the roller coaster Stardust Racers at Epic Universe. The Orange County Sheriff's Office in Orlando confirmed the incident. The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Joshua Stephany, the medical examiner for the Orlando area, ruled the death an accident after performing an autopsy. However, the autopsy did not reveal any details about the injuries, including where on the body they were found. The attraction remains closed while an investigation is ongoing.

Epic Universe, Florida's first major, traditional theme park to open since 1999, houses five themed sections and a 500-room hotel. Universal Orlando Resorts, which now have four parks including Universal Studios, extended their sincerest sympathies to the man's loved ones.

Dennis Speigel, CEO of International Theme Park Services, expressed concern about the incident and posed several questions. This is not the first incident at Epic Universe since its opening in May. In the second quarter of this year, there were a dozen reports of incidents from Disney World, Universal, and SeaWorld Orlando.

Two previous incidents involved individuals with preexisting conditions. In May, a 63-year-old man experienced dizziness and an altered state of consciousness at Epic Universe, while a 47-year-old woman had a visual disturbance and numbness after going on the Stardust Racers coaster.

Stardust Racers is a dual-launch coaster reaching speeds up to 62 mph (100 km/h), as described on the resort's website. The specific investigating authority for the ongoing investigation into the man's death is not explicitly mentioned in the provided information.

As the investigation continues, the focus remains on ensuring the safety and well-being of all visitors at Florida's theme parks.
