Now via his Insta account, he spilled the beans: "I gotta cancel and shuffle my next six shows in June, cause I'm still recuperating from the flu." He apologized for the inconvenience, mentioning his immense sorrow, and kept his spirits up, vowing to return to the stage sooner rather than later[1][2].
Postponed and Cancelled Shows
The June 7, 8, and 10 shows in Vegas, alongside the June 14 concert in Stateline are no more, difference maker. The Vegas shows on June 12 and 15, however, will be rescheduled to September 20 and 21, respectively[1].
Despite the setbacks, Stewart's eyes are targeted on a big date: June 29, set to rock at the hallowed ground of the Glastonbury festival in Somerset, England. Preparing for a mini-reunion with his old troupe, Faces, he'll join forces with his long-time pal Ronnie Wood (78), a man who knows a thing or two about playing in bands, what with the Rolling Stones under his belt as well[3].
