UCLA's 10th Year Performance Series Kicks Off with Talented Student Performances

Mrs. Carol Block, a familiar figure at UCLA, has invited staff from various areas and departments to witness the university's talented students showcase their skills in a series that is currently in its tenth year.

The series began on March 1st with the Classical Guitar Ensemble, featuring Hannah Yocute, Joseph Seyedan, Juan Rivera, Aaron Dozal, Payam Larijani, Joan Greenwald, and Peter Yates.

On the following day, Gal Kohav took centre stage, accompanied by Victoria Kirsch. Gal's performance was themed "Worlds Apart: Songs of Loss, Songs of Love". Photos from the event also featured Gal Kohav, along with Ian Bankhead, Nicole Galisatus, Sarah Wooden, Jamie Kang, and the Tiffany Wee-Brahms Clarinet Quintet.

On March 6th, Gal Kohav will return for an encore performance, this time accompanied by Jade Cook. Jade will also perform on the same day, in a vocal performance.

The excitement continues on March 7th, with Douglas Sumi set to perform in a vocal performance. Jade Cook will also perform on this day, accompanied by an unspecified accompanist. Further details about the accompanist are yet to be disclosed.

As the series progresses, it is anticipated that more students will have the opportunity to shine and showcase their talents. The exact schedule for the remaining performances is yet to be released.
