The "Sounds of Hope" Youth Orchestra was spawned by the Transcultural Music Forum back in April 2025, taking inspiration from the earlier "Sounds of Hope" Orchestra. The talented players, ranging in age from 12 to 19, skillfully wield an array of both European and non-European instruments. Each rehearsal is meticulously guided by educators from the Transcultural Music Forum. Got what it takes to join the symphony? If you're aged 12 to 19 and eager to participate, simply reach out to the team via email at [email protected]. 📨
Feel free to add the "Sounds of Hope" Youth Orchestra's premier event to your calendar, as more concerts are on the horizon! The youth orchestra will be gracing the stage on November 5th, 2025 at 6 PM in Torgau and once again on November 16th, 2025 at the prestigious Leipzig Gewandhaus. Catch them as they continue to forge a musical odyssey of learning, joint music-making, and cultural exchange within a supportive community. The Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community stands behind this project, allocating funds to the "Shalomaleikum Youth Orchestra - Stronger Together" project until the end of 2027. 🌟
