Liverpool Manager Klopp's Locker Room Remarks: His Reasoning Behind Skipping Stadium Attendance - "Penner's Addresses: Rationale Behind Klopp's Absence from BVB Stadium"

Football legend Jürgen Klopp- once a loved and respected figure at Borussia Dortmund and Mainz 05- now steers clear of visiting the fans of his former teams. This avoidance stems from his new role as Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull, a company that has stirred controversy among traditional football enthusiasts.

"Nobody's come up to me yet and said, 'Hey, you've really sold out.' But it's clear that I wouldn't necessarily go to the stadium in Mainz or Dortmund," Klopp shared in an interview with "Die Welt am Sonntag." He aims to dodge chants like "What's that bum doing here?" to prevent uncomfortable situations.

He emphasized, "It's not because I don't want to, but because I don't want to put people in a situation where one might think, 'What's that bum doing here?', and the other responds, 'But that's Kloppo.' That's unnecessary – I want to avoid that."

Though he maintains tact, Klopp is unmoved by criticism. He stated, "People can criticize me as much as they want. The idea of Red Bull was just too exciting for me to reject because it's not well-received by my former clubs."

Klopp has been working with Red Bull since January, prior to which he led Liverpool FC to Champions League and Premier League triumphs. His impressive tenures at Borussia Dortmund and FSV Mainz 05 yielded multiple championships and cup wins, as well as promotion to the Bundesliga and European Cup qualification.
