The 36th Pforzheim Oechsle Festival has officially begun, offering wine enthusiasts a chance to savour over 200 varieties of the noble beverage, setting a new record. The festival, which lasts for 17 days, was opened by Dirk Büscher, representing the Mayor, on September 3rd.
The market square was bustling with activity at the opening of the festival, with most of the outdoor seats taken. Six wine tents are offering delicious food this year, including salads and vegetarian dishes, as well as selected regional cuisine.
The live entertainment at the Oechsle Festival is available every day, starting at 5:30 PM, except on Sundays when it starts at 12 PM. The schedule features well-known and popular bands, providing a lively atmosphere throughout the festival.
In addition to wine and food, the Oechsle Festival offers a wide range of programs and experiences. Daily lunch specials are also available, adding to the festival's appeal.
