Last year, a photo book showcasing his work was released, curated by Walter Moser, chief curator at the Albertina Museum in Vienna, where Crewdson's life's work was exhibited. Leaving Modernity Behind

For Crewdson, the exploration and capture of the world is an endless pursuit. His belief is that every image can only offer a hint, thus necessitating the creation of more. He conveys, "One must keep making more pictures to continuously search for the ultimate meaning - even if it always remains beyond our human reach."
