Pechora Council Elects New Leadership, Registers United Russia Faction
The first watch of the eighth convocation of the Pechora municipal district council kicked off with the election of Ivan Gutorov as deputy chairman and Tatiana Bogdanova as secretary. The 'United Russia' faction was also registered in the council. Vladimir Kolesnikov, the mayor of Pechora, opened the session.
The meeting began with Oleg Shutov, the head of the Pechora municipal district administration, welcoming the newly elected deputies. He expressed confidence in a productive collaboration between the deputy corps and the municipal administration. The first order of business was the election of the council's chairman, with Lyudmila Prosheva winning the secret ballot. Each elected deputy was presented with a temporary certificate confirming their powers by Stepan Danilevich, chairman of the Territorial Election Commission.
