The Memorial Days, under the slogan "Remembering for the Future," honors the victims and oppressed of the National Socialist era, with a special emphasis on events and actors within the Harburg district. However, the focus isn't just on the past—these reflective days also tackle today's pressing issues such as extremism, discrimination, and persecution.

You best bet? The commemoration of the infamous Night of Broken Glass happening on Sunday, November 10th! This poignant event starts at 3 pm at Schwarzenberg's Jewish cemetery, where a mournful march will follow before reaching the memorial for the former Harburg synagogue on Eißendorfer Str./Knoopstr.
