Pavlovic Sprints Following Sustained Eye Injury

Aleksandar Pavlovic, the midfielder for Bayern Munich, is making a comeback to the pitch after undergoing eye socket surgery. The Serbian player has been sidelined since sustaining the injury during training last Friday [1].

Pavlovic has been working diligently in individual training and has recently rejoined team training, albeit wearing a protective mask while on the field [2][3]. Bayern officials, including Christoph Freund, have confirmed that he is on track for a return in September after the international break, around mid-September [5].

Unfortunately, this means Pavlovic will miss Bayern's early-season fixtures, including the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup, the opening Pokal match, and the first two Bundesliga games [1][3][4]. The exact date of his return to competitive play has not been disclosed.

The first competitive match for Bayern Munich is scheduled for Saturday at 8:30 PM. The opponent for this highly-anticipated match is none other than the DFB Cup winners, VfB Stuttgart [6]. The match will be broadcast on Sat.1 and Sky.

As for the current coach of VfB Stuttgart, no information has been provided. Pavlovic's absence due to Pfeiffer's glandular fever in the second half of last season and a previous metatarsal fracture in the first half of the season are reminders of the challenges the team has faced in the past [3][7].

Despite these setbacks, the spirit of Bayern Munich remains undeterred, and fans eagerly await Pavlovic's return to the team.

Pavlovic's return to the pitch is eagerly anticipated by Bayern Munich fans, as he is targeting a comeback in September, following European leagues football. Despite missing Bayern's early-season fixtures, his presence on the field could significantly boost the team's performance, especially in upcoming competitions.
