In the world of horse racing, there are several notable contests scheduled for the coming days. Here's a roundup of some of the key participants and trainers to keep an eye on.

At Dundalk, trainer Adam Nicol's Quercus Robur overcame a 94-day break last week to win over course and distance. The horse, which has more than half of its victories at Newcastle, will carry a 5lb penalty for its latest success and will be ridden by Cam Hardie in the 2m1⁄2f handicap at 5.08.

Meanwhile, Nathan Crosse retains the ride on Soulful Diva in the opening 5f contest at Dundalk (4.50). Soulful Diva, also trained by Nicol, was last seen in the Group 3 Prix d'Arenberg at Longchamp but failed to make an impact.

Trainer David Marnane has an impressive 32% strike rate at Dundalk this year and will run Soulful Diva in the opening 5f contest. Marnane's other runner, Boutella, runs in the mile handicap at Dundalk (6.30).

At Newbury, the promising juvenile True Test makes her fourth appearance in the 7f fillies' conditions stakes (2.20). After recording back-to-back wins at Lingfield and Newmarket, True Test contested the Group 2 Prix du Calvados at Deauville but found the company too hot and finished towards the rear of the field.

In the same race, Our Zebo, trained by Noel Kelly, made a successful return to hurdles with a career-best Racing Post Rating over the course and distance in its last race. Alex Harvey, who has ridden Our Zebo in all its Downpatrick starts, claims 3lb in the race.

Gordon Elliott's Penny Perfect is a likely danger in the race, having also scored at Downpatrick in its last race.

At Newton Abbot, Mickey Bowen has a 40% strike-rate this season and saddles Art Of Diplomacy in the opening 2m5f novice chase (2.03). Art Of Diplomacy, which has won eight times overall, has shown huge improvement since being sent chasing. Mohawk Chief, also trained by Bowen, runs in the 2m51⁄2f handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (4.20) and has won two of its last three starts.

Paul Nicholls operates at a 48% strike-rate at Newton Abbot this season and saddles Maldini Milano in the 2m51⁄2f maiden hurdle (2.38).

In Downpatrick, the horse named Our Zebo has a record of 2121 from four visits to the course and is competing in the 2m51⁄2f novice hurdle at 3.56.

With several talented horses and trainers set to compete, these races promise to be exciting events for horse racing enthusiasts.
