Headline: Notable Horses to Watch in Today's Races at Newcastle, Newton Abbot, and Dundalk

In today's racing schedule, several noteworthy horses are set to compete across different tracks.

At Newcastle, Quercus Robur, a six-year-old trained by Adam Nicol, aims to build on his impressive track record. Having recorded more than half of his victories at Newcastle, Quercus Robur will be participating in the 2m1⁄2f handicap at 5.08. The bay gelding overcame a 94-day break last week to win over course and distance for trainer Adam Nicol, and carries a 5lb penalty for that latest success.

Meanwhile, in the 5f contest at 4.50, Soulful Diva, run by David Marnane, will be making an appearance. Soulful Diva was last seen in the Group 3 Prix d'Arenberg at Longchamp but failed to make an impact.

Over at Newton Abbot, Paul Nicholls, the leading trainer at the venue this season, saddles Maldini Milano in the 2m51⁄2f maiden hurdle (2.38). Maldini Milano has shown improvement since being sent chasing. Another horse trained by Mickey Bowen, Mohawk Chief, runs in the same race. Mohawk Chief has won two of his last three starts.

In the opening 2m5f novice chase (2.03), Mickey Bowen also saddles Art Of Diplomacy, a horse with an impressive 40% strike-rate at Newton Abbot. Danny Gilligan will ride Boston Rajj in the same race, with Jack Kennedy getting the leg up on the four-year-old filly.

Our Zebo, ridden by Alex Harvey who has claimed 3lb, is set to compete in the 2m51⁄2f novice hurdle at Downpatrick. Our Zebo made a successful return to hurdles with a career-best Racing Post Rating over the course and distance. The bay gelding has a track record of 2121 from four visits to Downpatrick.

At Newbury, William Knight's horse True Test, a promising juvenile, will compete in the 7f fillies' conditions stakes at 2.20. True Test has a record of back-to-back wins at Lingfield and Newmarket, but found tougher company too hot in the Group 2 Prix du Calvados at Deauville. True Test carries a 5lb penalty and is expected to run a big race, with the Rockfel as a potential next race. Gordon Elliott's Penny Perfect is a likely danger in the same race, having also scored at the track previously.

Lastly, at Dundalk, David Marnane has an impressive 32% strike rate this year. One of his horses, Landsman, will be running in the 2,5-Meilen-Novice-Hurdle-Rennen at 15:56 Uhr.

Stay tuned for updates on these exciting races!
