Partygoer Daniela Kempen fires a gunshot at Sebastian's gathering in Anrath
In a recent gathering, the Brotherhood saw several significant changes and recognitions.
Regimentsspieß Florian Kempen has taken on a new role, being promoted and now managing the Brotherhood's annual Shooting Festival. This festival, known for its tradition and excitement, is now under his capable leadership.
Meanwhile, Marius Klümpen and Daniela Kempen were honoured with the silver merit cross of the Bund der Historischen Deutschen Schützenbruderschaften. Their contributions to the Brotherhood have been acknowledged with this prestigious award.
Daniela Kempen's accomplishments didn't stop there. She was also crowned as the King's Officer, a significant honour within the Brotherhood. In an impressive display of skill, she managed to shoot down the King's bird, a feat that added to her already impressive record.
Georg Draack, from the neighbouring shooting society Clörath-Vennheide, provided heavy equipment to allow Daniela Kempen to shoot down the King's bird. His support was instrumental in this achievement.
Natascha Herrmann and Saskia Düpre were crowned as ministers, joining the ranks of the Brotherhood's leadership. Lara Tillmanns was also crowned as the King's Officer, adding another layer of leadership to the Brotherhood.
In other news, Christian Lüpertz was appointed as the honorary president of the Brotherhood, a testament to his long-standing service and dedication.
Regiment Commander Rolf Kater has been promoted to Major General, a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and commitment.
Ute Lingen, who has been responsible for the Sebastianers' shooting sports for over three decades, was awarded the high brotherhood order. Her service and contributions to the Brotherhood have been recognised with this prestigious award.
The new Platzmajor is Bjoern van der Meer, and Ralf Julius Oerschkes remains as the Surgeon General. No new promotions or appointments were mentioned for these individuals in this gathering.
Lastly, Laura Schumann was the new minister of the marksmen's brotherhood who received the higher brotherhood order from Districtmaster Mike Kunze on Sunday. This honour caps off a series of changes and recognitions within the Brotherhood.
With these changes, the Brotherhood looks forward to another year of tradition, skill, and camaraderie.
