Partygoer Daniela Kempen discharges a gun at the event hosted by Sebastian, taking place in the town of Anrath.
In the heart of the Sebastianers' Shooting Brotherhood, several significant changes and recognitions have taken place.
Ute Lingen, a long-standing member of the brotherhood, has been honoured with the high Bruderschaftsorden for her dedicated service in the shooting sports. Lingen's commitment and passion have been instrumental in the brotherhood's success over the years.
The shooting festival, a much-anticipated event, was managed by Regimentsspieß Florian Kempen for the first time this year. Kempen took on the challenge of managing the festival single-handedly, demonstrating his leadership and organisational skills.
The festival was saved from potential cancellation thanks to the generous contribution of Schützenbruder Georg Draack from Clörath-Vennheide. Draack provided essential heavy equipment to ensure the festival could go ahead as planned.
In terms of leadership changes, Bjoern van der Meer has been appointed as the new Platzmajor, while Ralf Julius Oerschkes takes on the role of Surgeon General.
Christian Lüpertz has been elevated to the position of Honorary President, marking a new chapter in his service to the brotherhood.
The brotherhood's Ministers, Natascha Herrmann and Saskia Düpre, have been announced, with Lara Tillmanns taking on the role of the King's Officer.
The "Königsvogel," a traditional part of the shooting festival, was successfully shot down by Daniela Kempen, despite her young age. Kempen's impressive marksmanship earned her the accolade of shooting down the king's bird for the second time.
However, the search results do not explicitly name the individual who shot down the "Königsvogel" from a great height on Monday.
Finally, Regiment commander Rolf Kater has been promoted to the rank of Major General, a well-deserved recognition of his years of service and dedication to the brotherhood.
These changes and recognitions within the Sebastianers' Shooting Brotherhood promise an exciting future for the organisation, with a fresh wave of leadership and a continuation of the long-standing traditions that have made the brotherhood so successful.
