The People's Party leader, Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, has firmly denied claims that his party is acting as 'political scaffolding' for the Bhumjaithai Party. This denial comes amid criticism about an agreement between the two parties that allowed Anutin Charnvirakul to become premier.

The memorandum of agreement (MoA) prohibits Bhumjaithai from forming a majority government and mandates the dissolution of the House within four months. However, concerns have been raised about the potential alignment of the two parties following the signing of the MoA.

Natthaphong understands these concerns and is prepared to address them. He has stated that the People's Party is committed to acting as the opposition, especially under the Anutin government. The party is prepared to scrutinise the current administration through parliamentary debate and other mechanisms.

If the Anutin government is believed to have breached the MoA, the People's Party will pursue a thorough investigation using all available mechanisms. Mr. Pakornwut, the chief opposition whip and deputy PP leader, accepts all opinions and acknowledges that differing views are natural.

Meanwhile, Massage parlour tycoon-turned-politician Chuwit Kamolvisit suggested that the PP had been outmanoeuvred by Bhumjaithai. He posted on Facebook that Bhumjaithai is celebrating, their popularity is soaring, and many MPs are joining them.

Despite these claims, the People's Party is not acting as scaffolding for any party, including the Bhumjaithai Party. The name of the opposition leader of the Pheu Thai Party involved with the People's Party concerning the analysis of the government of Anutin Charnvirakul is not specified in the provided information.

Mr. Natthaphong believes that only a vote in the House can determine if Bhumjaithai has breached the MoA. Removing Bhumjaithai from the government in the event of a dispute would not be difficult, as Pheu Thai is now in the opposition, and the People's Party has more than 140 MPs in the House.

The People's Party had prepared for the possible influx of politicians into the Bhumjaithai Party. The party is ready to face any challenges that may arise and will continue to uphold its commitment to the opposition.
