Unscripted Chaos: Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht Dives into "Villa of Tempest"
- Hey there!*

Actor and musician, Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (33), is stepping into the unknown with the thrilling new reality show, "Villa of Tempest."
Sit down with reality TV guru, Ramon Wagner, and Jimi spills some tea on the upcoming series. "I was eager to break out of my comfort zone with this show and experience the limits. I didn't have a clue about what we might be in for. I figured we'd be roughing it out in a tent. I don't wanna give too much away, but it was intense alright! Almost called it off." Yet, despite pushing the envelope, he had an absolute blast.
His major worry before the cameras started rolling was about the cast. "There are a few folks who, when reality show invites come in, I tell the producers if so-and-so is involved, I'm out because I don't wanna be part of that circus," confesses the 33-year-old. "If it devolves or sensitive subjects are brought up without reason or they're just argumentative and have nothing to do with me, no thanks."
When it comes to the worst-case scenario in "Villa of Tempest," Jimi admits, "I was dreading encountering someone I had zero interest in. But I made an effort to reach out and clear the air here and there." Generally, he gets along with everyone, asserts Ochsenknecht. "If I notice someone's giving me trouble, I confront it head-on and don't shy away from conflict."
He hopes the show allows viewers to get a deeper understanding of him than just quick clips from "These Ochsenknechts" or Instagram stories. "That's what reality formats are for, right?"
Your Host With the Most: Verona Pooth
Details surrounding the new "Villa of Tempest" format have been hinted at. Sat.1 announced at the end of May that the show will debut on July 7 at 8:15 PM, and it'll be streaming on Joyn. As for the cast, 14 big names will reside in the "Villa of Tempest" for two weeks, trading in soft beds and gourmet feasts for hard mats and scant rations. The residents can opt for luxuries, but they'll pay a steep price.
Verona Pooth (57) will serve as the host. "Life isn't free; everything has a cost," Pooth emphasizes in a statement. The stars can "have anything they want - but it'll cost 'em." The prize money of 250,000 euros will decrease accordingly with each temptation chosen. Seems like the temptation to overcome self-interest might stir up some conflict.
The One: Love in the Jungle
Details about another reality show featuring Jimi, "Are You The One? Realitystars in Love," have surfaced. Sophia Thomalla (35) announced Jimi's participation on the format's Instagram account at the beginning of May. For the first time, a celebrity will join 22 other candidates in a love quest in Thailand, as experts have already identified the "perfect match." Season five begins on RTL+ this summer.
