Participating in candidacy for the Black Swamp Elections
The picturesque town of Rötz is gearing up for the annual Schwarzwihrberglauf, scheduled for August 31st. Organised by TV Rötz, this exciting hill run event is open to all runners aged 14 and above.
The Schwarzwihrberglauf is a part of the Cham County Circuit Race and offers a challenging yet rewarding course. The route, approximately twelve kilometers long with 320 meters of elevation, starts and ends at the Irlweiher in Rötz.
For those seeking a team challenge, a new addition this year is a 2-person team relay (male, female, or mixed teams). The exchange for the flat Schwarzachtal loop in the relay is at kilometer 4.1 at the old Wutzschleife. The registration fee for the relay team is 30 euros per team.
Individual participants can register for 15 euros per person. The registration deadline for early bird rates is August 15th, after which the fee increases. Registration remains open until August 30th.
A shuttle service will be available for participants, ensuring a smooth and convenient experience. Finisher medals will be awarded to all participants completing the Schwarzwihrberglauf.
The event begins at 10:45 AM, with the Schwarzachtal loop for U18 male and female participants starting at 10:55 AM. Early arrival is recommended to ensure a comfortable registration process and to soak in the event's atmosphere.
