Participants' registration now open for the 15th Triangle Run, as race paths have been previously established
The City Triangle Run 2025 is set to take place on August 16, with the starting gun firing at 3:00 PM at Burglengenfeld's Town Hall. This annual event promises a day of fun, community, and commitment, as runners of all ages and abilities take to the streets of Burglengenfeld, Maxhütte-Haidhof, and Teublitz.
For those looking to participate, registration is currently open at www.staedtedreieckslauf.de. Unlike some other runs, there is no starting fee for the City Triangle Run 2025. Runners will receive their starting numbers with integrated transponders on the day of the event.
The event will feature runs for various distances, including a six-kilometer and a ten-kilometer route, both of which have already been marked. The six-kilometer run will begin simultaneously in Teublitz's city park, joining the ten-kilometer runners at the start line.
For the younger participants, a children's run over 1.5 kilometers will start at 2:50 PM at the Town Hall of Maxhütte-Haidhof. All children participating in the Bambini/School run will receive a functional shirt and a medal upon completion.
The fastest runners and the oldest participants (male and female) will receive material prizes for their achievements. Additionally, three local banks will donate 2.50 euros for a good cause for every runner who crosses the finish line.
After the run, results can be viewed online, and certificates can be downloaded for self-printing. To add to the excitement, shopping vouchers and a wellness weekend will be drawn among all participants in the six- and ten-kilometer runs.
The City Triangle Association, led by Sebastian Hauser, Sabine Eichinger, and Kilian Marek, is organizing the event. The three groups with the most participants (whether clubs, companies, or authorities) will be awarded cash prizes.
The time measurement at the 15th City Triangle Run will be digital, ensuring accurate results for all participants. The event will take place in the cities of Burglengenfeld, Maxhütte-Haidhof, and Teublitz, promising a memorable day for all involved.
