From Wednesday to Saturday, over five dozen Italian restaurants—that's right, a whopping 53 eateries—will be treating foodies to their signature Italian dishes at the "72 hrs True Italian Food" festival.
So what's on the menu, you ask? You can feast on everything from Focaccia drizzled with pistachio Mortadella and creamy buffalo Stracciatella cheese to Sicilian Caponata, creamy Eggplant Parmigiana, refreshingly cold Panzanella, crispy Bruschette, mini Pizzettes, fluffy Zeppole, and sweet Maritozzi.
At each participating restaurant, savor a food-and-drink pairing for just nine euros! Nine of these locations are hot newcomers from the previous year, so happen to miss 'em last time? No worries—they're back and better than ever! And don't forget to snap a picture, because there's a photo contest on Instagram with a tempting Italian getaway as the grand prize!
Organized by Berlin Italian Communication, this festival hosts restaurants bearing the "True Italian" quality seal, awarded since 2015. Starting in May, the "Gelato Week Germany" will sweep through 50 Berlin ice cream parlors, followed by various street food festivals during the summer. And just wait until fall rolls around, because the "True Italian Pizza Week" and "True Italian Pasta Week" will be making a comeback!
