Following the incident, Varsity Spirit drafted an open letter to the cheer community, outlining the steps it would take to enhance security measures for future events. These measures include tightened alcohol policies, increased screenings, and a zero-tolerance policy towards dangerous behavior such as bullying and harassment. Violating the policy could potentially result in a lifetime ban.
