Paramount Assures Kazakh Viewers: No Channel Disruptions Despite Russia Pullout
Beeline Kazakhstan has clarified that Paramount Studios has no plans to pull its TV channels from the Kazakh market. This comes amidst reports of channel disruptions in Russia.
Currently, five Paramount channels - Paramount Channel, Paramount Comedy, Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon HD, NickToons, and Nick Jr. - are accessible via the BeeTV platform in Kazakhstan. These channels will continue broadcasting without any changes.
In contrast, from April 20, these channels will cease operations in Russia. Unfortunately, specific details about which Paramount channels will remain in Russia post-April 20 are not yet available.
Previously, in July 2019, Paramount Channel, Paramount Comedy, and MTV channels were removed from the iDTV network. However, Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. continue to broadcast in the Kazakh iDTV network.
Paramount Studios has reassured Kazakh viewers that its TV channels will continue to operate as normal. Meanwhile, Russian viewers will lose access to several Paramount channels from April 20. No official notifications regarding broadcasting changes in Kazakhstan have been received from Paramount.
