Serves 4
- 1 can of Sardelles
- 1 can of Chopped Mussels, with their liquid
- 1/2 cup of Noodles
- 3 cloves of Garlic, minced
- 1 medium Onion
- 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons of Butter
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground Black Pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon of Red Pepper Flakes

Preparation
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions, until al dente.
- Warm a large skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil and butter until translucent.
- Add the entire can of sardines, including oil, to the skillet and mix until sardines break down. Follow with the entire can of chopped mussels with its liquid, mixing well.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low once the noodles are cooked and drain off excess liquid from the skillet, retaining at least 50% of the original liquid. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and stir well.
- Season with freshly ground black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes, to taste. Serve immediately.
