Palfinger and TVS Mobility join forces to conquer India's booming lifting equipment market

Palfinger has teamed up with TVS Mobility Group to expand its presence in India. The partnership aims to boost logistics, infrastructure, and customer service across the country. Both companies have already started joint projects in key sectors.

India's demand for specialised lifting equipment is rising fast. This growth is driven by construction, defence, and logistics needs, making the market a priority for Palfinger's long-term strategy.

Palfinger currently runs sales, service, and development operations in India. A new assembly plant is also set to open in 2027. The company views India as a critical market within its APAC growth plans, targeting revenues of up to €300 million by 2030 under its Strategy 2030+.

TVS Mobility Group, a major Indian provider, brings strong local expertise to the partnership. With over 25,000 employees, operations in 25 countries, and $3 billion in revenue, the group will help strengthen Palfinger's logistics and service networks. R. Dinesh, Director of TVS Mobility, highlighted plans to improve spare parts availability and service responsiveness.

The two firms are exploring multiple areas for collaboration. These include supply chain solutions, warehousing, infrastructure development, equipment rental, and defence sector opportunities. Andreas Klauser, CEO of Palfinger, praised TVS Mobility's operational strengths, calling them a dependable partner for future growth.

Initial joint projects in logistics and infrastructure have already begun. The partnership also aims to expand Palfinger's dealer network and enhance local support for customers across India.

The agreement positions Palfinger to tap into India's fast-growing demand for lifting solutions. By leveraging TVS Mobility's network and expertise, the company expects to strengthen its market presence. The collaboration will focus on improving service efficiency and expanding operational reach in the coming years.
